One morning when I was opting to take a landscape portrait of the rice paddies in Ubud, I saw this young villager and his cow walking towards the wet and muddy section of the paddy field. Since paddy fields are always kept damp, they have good water resources for the villagers to wash their clothes, but mainly to wash their animals. I thought that it would be a great photograph if I could perfectly time the water just before it splashes over the cow. It took me several tries; honestly a lot of tries because I couldn't get the right timing. I had to be quick also because the man didn't know that I was taking a photograph of him and so I couldn't instruct him to repeatedly splash the water. The result was the photo above and I am quite impressed because I believe my skills improved.
